In general, I strongly recommend updating the BIOS/Firmware on every component when you build a new computer. This includes motherboard, HDDs/SSDs, etc.

As far as your build goes, here are my recommendations:

If you want to use this system for gaming or listening to anything but the Windows sounds, I'd get both a better keyboard and speakers. Also, do you have a mouse?

If you're planning on doing any kind of overclocking on this system, you might want a bigger PSU.

An SSD makes for a wonderful experience in computing. I'd strongly recommend adding an SSD.

Dude, patience. And seriously, take some time to punctuate. I have to read your posts two or three times to get what you're saying.

Each device will have its own procedure for updating its BIOS or firmware. In general, it usually involves downloading an updater utility, burning that utility to CD or loading it to USB stick, and then booting into that utility. Is it required? Maybe. Some devices have serious upgrades, both stability and feature wise, with newer firmware. Is it recommended? Absolutely.

Seagate v Western Digital is really more of an opinion than an actually subjective answer. I person prefer WD hard drives. I know personally know people who have had bad experience with WD hard drives and would never use them. I personally have had bad experiences with other hard drives, so I use WD drives. But to each his own.

So, if you are in another country, you wouldn't have access to Newegg correct? Because they have some great deals on their Z77 motherboards right now.
