Suggestions for upgrade from a Deathadder.

I have a DeathAdder right now, and I really love it. It's the most comfortable mouse I've ever owned. However, I'm looking for something with more macros built into it, as I'm probably going to get back into MMO's. My little brother who lives 1,000 miles away is asking me to play WoW with him. I can't say no to that.

Is there anything comparable to the DA in terms of comfort, but with more features? The Naga looks pretty awkward, and I haven't looked at other brands much. Brand doesn't really matter to me, though. There's just so much out there. It's not a huge deal, I can more than get by with my mouse, but change could be good, too. I'll just move the DA to my htpc.

I don't think your going to get much the same size as the DA with extra macros and such. There is the naga hex which has less buttons but not sure of the dimensions http://www.razerzone.com/gaming-mice/razer-naga-hex/.

When I switched from my DA to a zowie EC2 Evo which i love. I found that two thumb buttons and scroll wheel click were all i needed for WOW. I played a Resto shaman in a progression guild and it was always enough.

Well for World of Warcraft I used both a Naga and a G600, switching them out somewhat frequently. I have to say that I liked the Naga better for both making macros and assigning buttons and the software side of it, but also the size and weight of it. It's bigger than you might think, but still not as big as a DeathAdder.

The G600 was also useful for WoW, but when I'd go over and play some of my BF3, CS:S or any other FPS type game that required a lot of picking up my mouse (since I play at a fairly low sensitivity), I could really notice how bulky and heavy the G600 was.

Now I'm using a SteelSeries Sensei RAW and enjoy it for everything I use my computer for (mostly FPS games now).

I didn't like the Naga. Not sure if I was clear about that. The shape is kind of awkward for me, the way it leans to one side. It just feels weird.

Maybe I'll just get a g13 and keep my DA instead. It's the most comfortable mouse I've ever owned.

its just fine for mmo's or multi button games. it has plenty of customization options in the software, everything from lighting to asigning buttons.
thats really your only choice for an "mmo" mouse besides the naga and maybe the hex. i've used my friends g600 before and its big and comfortable. the 3rd mouse button also acts like a modifier key for shift or ctrl or whatever u want it to be, so even less hands on the keyboard.
the keys on the side are also positioned in a way (they are tilted and stuff) that makes it easy for u to press. its a cool little inovation.

i personally used the naga for a while when i was way into mmo's but since then have refined my hotkey setup and no longer need the "Training wheel mmo mice".

I played with a G600 at CompUSA. The macro buttons are way too far back for my thumb (I have really big hands). My sausage fingers don't wanna move like that. I think I'm just gonna keep my DA and get a g13 or an n52te.
