So I recently built a system involving an NZXT Kraken x60, a Corsair 900D case and an Asus Rampage IV Extreme motherboard.

The Rampage IV Extreme motherboard has 2 USB 2 headers. The Corsair 900D takes 2 USB 2 headers. The NZXT Kraken x60 takes 1 USB header.

As you can see I'm coming up a bit short. Now, having unusable USB ports in my front panel just bothers the hell out of me, so: Does anyone know if there are any ill effects if you just don't plug the Kraken in? Is there a good way to go about doing that (certain profile to load beforehand, etc. etc.)?

Or, alternatively, does anyone know how I'd get the female USB 2 connector dangling from the case into the extra USB 3 header on the board?
