Changing the BCLK while in Windows can put the internal timers out of sync and this will affect many games and benchmark programs. To learn more about this problem you can read this.

Does CPU-Z show the BCLK change?

When adjusting the BCLK when you are in Windows 7 or Windows 8, it would be a good idea to fix this timing problem by entering this in a command window.

bcdedit /set useplatformclock true

After that, you will need to reboot.

If you want to go back to the original timer that Windows uses, enter this into the command window.

bcdedit /deletevalue useplatformclock
