For some reason today my PC is behaving very strangely. When I first turned it on the POST screen sat for ages before doing anything, and when I entered my BIOS I found my overclock is totally messed up, the settings have changed to things I havent set, eg my RAM was downclocked to 1200mhz instead of the default 1600mhz, my CPU was set to 3742mhz though the bus setting rather than the multi, and other minor settings such as whether the full screen Motherboard logo should appear where set wrong.

I changed all the settings to default (just for now), and when I restarted the CPU and RAM where still messed up, everything else had changed. So I went back into the bios and changed them again and this time they have stuck at default values, but my computer still sits at the post screen for an eternity before booting up.

Another problem ive had recently is after a while one of my hard drives will randomly disappear from the 'Computer' screen. It isnt there now actually, it is only a secondary HDD that has music, data, etc stored on it, no install files or anything like that, and im pretty sure its connected up right, but i'll double check.

Does anyone know what might be the problem? Has anything like this happened to anyone before?
