SSD Alignment Question

Thread Starter
I am going to be installing a Samsung 840 Pro as my main drive with OS and programs. I will also be installing Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Question: Should I format the SSD when installing Win7, by doing this (from Sean's guide):

Diskpart
List disk
Select disk n (where n is the number that was given for your SSD in List disk)
Clean
Create partition primary align=1024
Format fs=ntfs quick
Active (assuming you want to install an OS)
Exit

Or should I use Paragon's Alignment Tool first?

Thanks!

Just follow this guide: http://www.overclock.net/t/1227308/storage-essentials-thread

Look for Windows 7 installation guide.

Windows 7 will do most of the work for simplicity.
