I baked my cards at 400 but only for ~5 minutes, never had any problems....

Looks like that should have only happened if you baked it chipside down...which would be a reason why they fell off.

Seriously that was the funniest picture I saw this past month regarding baking boards, why do you not read and copy how others do it (read a dozen then summarize the process of the successful ones).

Baked so many times I've already have 1x1 angle bars made to hold 2 to 4 cards in a pan.

TIP: Factor in the Height (top-bottom of oven), temp (room & bake) and time (baking and COOLING before letting it get exposed) stress test afterwards.
