Does anyone know what switches are compatible with the DeathAdder 2013? Thinking about replacing them. - Page 2

hello guys

today i've done a little surgery with my razer deathadder 2013, having the same problem as like everyone with the RMB. as a former zowie FK user i just opened my zowie FK and soldered out the HUANO switches. did the same with the deathadder's omrons and just put in the huano's into my deathadder. worked perfectly fine for me...

conclusion after a bit of testing, the RMB is STILL relatively easy to press compared to the LMB, but it is MASSIVELY better than befor. i would absolutely recommend that. i know you may need some tools to do this, but overall it was very easy. you just need to be careful with the heat when you put on the soldering bolt because the huano switches will be damaged fairly easy if they get too hot (its a very very thin metal sheet inside the switches, which doesnt withstand the heat (yes i opened one)).

if its appreciated, i can upload some fotos of how i did it (including some pictures of the tools i've used). but as i said, it was easy to do and after having about 3 Zowie AM's and 3 FK's, i've some spare switches left ^^ (yes i destroyed the first pair by overheating them, but after i knew about it, it was no problem)

greets, tom

(excuse my bad english, its not my first language) :S

Tom, that's awesome. I had considered doing that. Would you mind posting the model # of your Huano switches?

replace only the right mouse button for a huano though, OP.
I would highly recommend keepin omron for leftclick as the huano sucks for rapid clicking in comparison.
