[Steam] Final Fantasy 8 found on Steam Database - Page 3

FF8 was 1 of my least favorite FF games but I'll still buy it on Steam. I like to play through them all every so often so it will be nice to have. I have them all on emulators but there are always a few glitches here and there. I'll be more excited when 9 hits. I'm guessing the will end up releasing them all sooner or later.

Oh you are talking about Rafa. That is one of the harder ones where many people also get stuck at. If you are stuck, it's either because you are underleveled or your characters movement speed are too slow. There is 2 ways to get past that. First way is to load an earlier save before entering the castle and level up so more. The 2nd way is to stack movement speed so you can keep ahead of Rafa. You don't even have to kill the enemies if I recall correctly, just get one of them really low.

It sounds like that roof battle at Riovanes against Elmdor, Celia, and that other assasin chick. probably the toughest battle in the game. After that it's pretty smooth sailing and is my favorite FF title to date.

Yup that would be Riovanes and the person he's talking about is Rafa. It's one of the hardest missions, but not something you couldn't get past if you thought about it for a while.
