Looking to buy a Ultrabook

Thread Starter
Hi, as the title says, I'm looking for an ultrabook about 13-14 inch thats not too heavy, actually it has to be light because my dad can't carry anything very heavy.

Preferably fast (SSD or at least the hybrid kind) its just to browse the internet, word/excel/powerpoint, and watching movies.

Budget is under 1000$ but the cheaper the better

PS : I'm from canada. Can you please find a computer on a canadian website ? (NCIX.com, newegg.ca, memoryexpress.com,etc)

Are you sure you don't want to wait until some Haswell ultrabooks come out? They seem to boast better battery life and GPU performance.

If not, the ASUS Zenbooks are a good choice.

It's for my dad and he can't really wait. As long as the battery life is comparable to the one of a macbook air. No need for 1080p either a 720p screen is fine. The main thing he's gonna do on the computer is websurfing and checking his bank account etc.
