Cheap a$$ gaming comp - Page 2

I have to say if you went used you could probably get much nicer rig while keeping the price around the same ballpark.

Corsair GS600 $45 shipped

Team Vulcan 8GB $40 shipped BNIB

PH II X6 960T + Asus M4A79XTD EVO + Xiggy DK 1283S cooler for $190 shipped

MSI 7850 TF II $125 shipped

^ that would be $400 bones, no tax, shipped and would leave you $200 or so to find a case/monitors/DVDRW/M&KB/HDD and the system will be a MUCH more powerful rig and should be able to keep it under $600. And that was only using OCN's FS forums!!! if I headed over to EVGA and [H]ard I could probably find more deals and a few more options.

Why don't you get used or old parts like a first gen i7 with a used 5870? Theses would still pack a punch for 1080p gaming.

Nvm people have already posted some nice build with used parts. thumb.gif
