Can anybody explain this?

Thread Starter
When I OC my 4670k to 4.4Ghz (on an ASRock Z87 Extreme4) using the BIOS, my system crashes within the first two minutes of running Prime95.

But when I do the OC'ing while in OS (using ASRock's OC softwarre tool), it can run Prime95 without any problems.

I've checked the settings in the BIOS and in the ASRock's OS software and made sure that everything is the same.

Bit weird, huh?

Usually because software overclocking uses aggressive voltages...
