New Laptop with multiple pre-made partitions - safe to delete?

So I've got a new laptop (Toshiba z930 ultrabook) and the SSD has already been partitioned with nothing stored in them (except a 30gb Primary Partition but I'm not sure what is on it)

Is it safe to delete these partitions? Or how to I use them?

Any help and insight would be appreciated!

Hello,

The problem that might arise from doing so is if your using any rapid storage or rapid start, sometimes it will allocate a certain amount for the cache. Its virtual space it must have. Yet if it does so, you shouldn't see it in your partition. I wouldn't think you'd have a problem deleteing the 30, 6 , and 10, and making it one big partition, but I would make sure its not being used for anything, and they are indeed blank.

You have a couple of recovery partitions in there which might come in handy some day. The other thing is, if you had to take it back for repair they might get funny and use it as an excuse to refuse you a warranty claim.

Do know how they work as recovery partitions if they are empty?
