CM Recon tracking problem?

Thread Starter
I was just checkout out the recon on Mouse Movement Recorder and I found a problem which appears every second or so.

Basically every second or so there is a some negative then positive acceleration even when windows sensitivity is set to 6/11.

I don't think this happened with the spawn.

Any ideas? I've tried all of the DPI levels. I'm using the DPI level 1 profile in the screenshot, the others are deactivated.

I had a legitimate issue with the mouse that was fixed with using the LOD of 3 via mouse software. Not sure what it is default but when I had it set to 1 and 2 I would get Y-axis issues and it could cut movement, or sometimes left to right movement would be extremely jittery. I thought I felt accel doing certain things but that was pure placebo.

Mouse was used on a puretrak talent, mionix sargas 320 and steelseries qck mini (I don't use hardpads, sorry) and I was able to replicate it each time until I changed the LOD so try to give that a shot.

Since FW update if I use 1 LOD on my puretrak it just barely tracks for some reason. I had to switch to 2 for it to track normally again oddly. I lift the mouse like 1/2mm and it stops tracking lol.

Do you by any chance have a program f.lux running?

Me? Nope, I rarely use anything running when gaming. I do have a program called timer resolution which is supposed to lower lag by reducing the CPU's cycle to as low as is possible or something to that affect. One thing I did notice is that even with the lights turned off on my recon the polling rate seems to be pretty inconsistent.

The recon to me is an amazing mouse even given that it is slightly weightier than I would like, I am still very agile with it and the tracking is, of course, top notch, given the avago 3090. The mouse to me is also very comfortable in a palm grip style. All in all I would buy this over poorly made deathadders all day long. I hated my deathadder with a passion but used it because the tracking was exceptional.
