Advice for a build for a friend

Thread Starter
Hi guys, my friend wants a PC, he thought about buying a pre-built one, but I told him don't be crazy and build it yourself. So, his budget is round 1100$ and he is going to do pretty much anything, talked about wanting to play bf4 too, 1080p I think, I'm not sure, but his samsung screen is pretty new so I assume it's 1080. I hope to get some ideas from you guys, since I don't really know what Intel has to offer, especially since haswell came out.
