Adding non-conductive thermal compound to memory

I was wondering if I could apply some ceramic or other non-conductive thermal compound to my memory modules without causing damage from short-cicuiting, or corroding. I suspect that my HS is fully contacting the memory, as I am not getting the greatest OC on my memory, but I can get 10 MHz. My core temps are reading 58C mex when running the ATI Tool artifact scanner.

Okay, just to let you know; The X1950Pro memory doesn't overclock at all, and is most likely to crash when you overclock it.

Go even and search for "X1950Pro" on the forum, it'll pop up with alot of threads like "*** no oc on my x1950pro?"

Actually it does overclock, you just have to set some quirky settings. I know some guys that have OCed their memory 75 MHz over. If you overclock using CCC (memory that is) you will actually get lower scores. I can set my clocks with ATI Tray Tools, but when I play games for a while I get some stuttering after around 45 minutes, so I think that I have either reached my voltage limit (HIS is already OCed up to 743 MHz), or my memory isn't making full contact with the heatsink, which is a kick arse one! All copper on the HIS, with seperate sinks for the memory, core, and VRMs.

Duke:
By "ceramic is used for video cards" do you mean video memory? I already have reseated the HS and applied Arctic Silver 5 to the GPU.
Also, I don't think that I have reached my temperature limit, only my voltage limit. I max out GPU temps at 60C on the core when running the ATI Tool scanner.

It's recommended over AS5 because AS5, " the compound is very slightly capacitive and could potentially cause problems if it bridges two close-proximity electrical paths." where as C'eramique is not.
Many use AF5 but very carefully, it's up to the user to decide if they care to use AS5 and take the miniscule risk.

Yea, I already used to A6 silver on the core, but I was VERY careful. I have read what you posted, as silver is UBER conductive

Well if it's non-conductive it...won't conduct - so it wont short you out. Just make sure that it is in fact non-conductive. 58C is not too high for a GPU - don't start to worry till you hit ~90

Thermal paste isn't "uber conductive". Not of electricity, at least. As Duke said, it's slightly capacitative.

What? Silver is very electrically conductive, and thermally? The same properties apply for determing whether a substance is electrically or thermodynamically conductive. As in the elements place on the periodic table; it's ability to release an electron, i. e. positive charge. I may be wrong, but if I am it is because I am a bit intoxicated
Ok, as I thought, wikipedia refreshed my rusty memory. On the pauling scale (electonegativity, ability to attract an electron) silver is slightly higher than copper, and the only reason that silver isn't used in wiring is that it is too expensive.
If you are referring to ceramic paste, then yes you are right, it isn't "uber conductive", because there are bits of ceramic material blended with the conductive material (I assume silver as well) to prevent accidents from happening.
Has anyone applied ceramic thermal paste between the memory modules and the heatsinks? I'm not sure if there are thermal pads between the copper heatsink or not....here is a pic of the HSs, NICE!

Trust me, I know my chemistry. Silver is very conductive. Arctic Silver 5 is not.
