heya!
last month i bought the samsung galaxy note 10.1 and it is really awesome!
the pen works perfectly!
ok its in a higher price range but i think its the best tablet on the market atm.. (just my opinion)
the sound is really good for a tablet.

just go to a shop and use it with your own hands and you will love it!

Hey OP, you should get a camera connector kit, so you can use USB keyboard with your tablet. I don't like my iPad 3 because it is so heavy and it loses charge very fast, but besides those it is a great tablet, and the screen is amazing.

I checked out the samsung tabs and notes. Was interested in the note 10 but wanted a tablet only and not cell data/plan? Made my way over to the apple section and the ipad mini had me interested, the other 7 inch tablets I saw seemed a tad too small for my liking, the 8 inch mini seemed pretty cool. After going back and forth to the Apple and Samsung section the Apple tablets just felt like they were built sturdier and higher quality. I ended up going with the Ipad retina lol. Interesting, went there looking for the nexus 7 and left with the Ipad retina.
Why? You could have done so much better with a 10" Android Tablet. Such as the Tab 3 or Nexus 10. And an Otterbox off eBay real cheap. Seriously, if possible, EXCHANGE IT NOW. Apple limits you so much

Otherwise, if keeping the APPLE, Bluetooth keyboard and Otterbox are a MUST HAVE. biggrin.gif

I just got myself an Asus TF700t with keyboard dock. it's the perfect little device for quick notes on a real keyboard, it's got a great IPS screen, a touchpad when you don't want to dirty your screen, and a good battery. I got the tab and dock refurbished for $400 smile.gif.

The 2 main things were the difference in buil quality and screen resolution. I don't know if it was just the display model, but the samsungs just didn't *feel* like they were built as well as the apples. That along with the lower resolution and my decision that the stylus was something I would really use only for the first few weeks. They had no nexus models available to compare it too and didn't want to order online without playing around with it first. I know most people are anti apple and I normally lean towards android as well, but the ipad feels like a well built quality device. Plus I decided to get my comp shipped out here to me anyways lol.

*the nexus 10 required me to get a data plan, I only wanted a wifi tablet. Out here in china every place has wifi practically.

Having said that thanks for all your help, anyone have any questions about china? Lol
