corsair sandforce suck??

hallo ocn member just wanna asking something i have a corsair ssd force 3 90gb just using it for os and game application already have it for 1 year and in these past 3 months i am experiance BSOD

whea_uncorrectable_error

3 months ago 1 play a game and when i close the game to return to windows my windows freeze and restarted by himself

and stuck after welcome windows logo just a blank screen (windows error bla bla bla restart himself and the error repeat everytime) already do what i can do repair ETC testing my hardware 1 by1 for hardware failure still doesn't work and i try to fresh instal windows and the weird thing is ssd detected but when i instal the windows the progress is stuck at 0%

i decide to RMA it back

when i recieve my rma ssd

i try to instal and work like charm

and 2 months passed and today the error like my first experiance repeat like this

what the problem is this?? is pure ssd problem or have something else?

my spec

i7 2600k oc ed to 4,2 ghz vcore 1,2
z77 extreme 4 asrock
4x4gb vengeance memory
1 wifi adapter
crossfire 7870xt
1 tb wd black
and 1 ssd 90gb
power supply golden king 550 watt super flower


can you guys please tell me i really confuse i don't wanna reinstal and RMA every 2-3 months

i am thinking to replace my ssd

are plextor m5s good??

can anyone tell me i just can bought plextor m5s at the moment

most buy Intel or samsung however plextor should be good.
It has the marvel controller so should be great.
just check firmware for updates its the main thing with ssd they might need a new firmware down the line.
I updated mine 4 times without issues the last 2 years crucial m4.

hmm thanks for the info bro

can i ask something is this plextor good ssd with good quality? i only can afford plextor m5s or samsung 840 series

in my country ssd still expensive

what will i choice samsung or plextor ? or intel 330 series 120gb/??

for good reliability and long live i don't wanna corsair ssd again because it's suck it's really suck make me reinstall windows again and again so freaking annoying

please advice me

The plextor M5 is a good SSD. I have the M3 and it is very similar, it has never given me issues. I'd get the plextor over the Samsung 840.

I would say, you do not have to replace your SSD or RMA it. Did you try updating your system firmwares-BIOS, Motherboard, Corsair, Sandforce controller? If any of these is not in sync then these kinds of issues can happen with any kind of SSD not just sandforce. I had taken this advice from a person whom I term now as Genius becuase it helped me recover back my data which is very preciuos biggrin.gif

not to mention i already updated my ssd firmware to the latest via corsair forum

corsair say this item has been discontinued and offer me to upgrade to GS 128gb with 45$ price this is suck really2 suck
