The 8 series has new methods for doing its AA and AF which makes it actually look better than the 7 series and even ATIs raved AA and AF.

well as you may know when direct x 9 first came. teh dx9 cards were brely enought to handle them so.. the 8800 is only the begining of dx10. i would say yea it will do ok.. but 7800s are recomended.. then i think its time for me to upgrade!
