Hey guys, i'm planning on selling my GTX 650ti soon, and buying either a 660 for $235, 660ti for $280 or a 760 for $300 (Links below) I do plan on SLI'ing this card very soon, within a month or two, and I was curious which would be the best card for Price/Performance? Is the 760 worth $65 per card over the 660? And is the 660ti or 760 the better card? Had to ask the experts!! tongue.gif Thanks!

MSI GTX 660 Twin Frozr 3 OC $235

Damn! I voted for the GTX 760 before even seeing those prices. GTX 760 is faster than the GTX 660 Ti. Usually GTX 660 Ti is expensive than the GTX 760 for unknown reason, but since GTX 660 is also overpriced at your end, might as well get the GTX 760. And for the record, GTX 760 is the new replacement for GTX 660 Ti.

All the best.

The prices are so high because they are in AUD, would be slightly cheaper in USD, plus everything in Australia is overpriced!! Thanks, just need to try and sell my 650ti

Either get the 660 (non-Ti) or the 760, preferably the latter if you can afford it. The 660 Ti is too unbalanced of a design (too many SMXs for the too-narrow 192-bit bus, along with a shortage of ROPs) to compete with the similarly-priced 760.
Code:
NAME CHIP CUDA TMU ROP SMX BASE BOOST MEMCL BUS MEMSZ

660 GK106 960 80 24 5 980 1033 6008 192 2048
660 Ti GK104 1344 112 24 7 915 980 6008 192 2048
760 GK104 1152 96 32 6 980 1033 6008 256 2048

looks like OP is a gamer and has a 3570K.

by that rule I would get the strongest card possible and outta those three the GTX 760 gets my vote.
and the pricing is not that far off from the 'oddball' card the GTX 660 Ti..

I vote GTX 760.

I came on this morning preparing to post this exact question, man I love OCN. Lol great suggestions gents, I'm looking to run BF4, crysis 3, COH2, GW2 and others. Looks like the 760 is the way to go, I'm likely going to order this one in moments.....
