Is it worth changing the monitor?

I currently have the following 21,5 inches monitor:

http://reviews.cnet.com/lcd-monitors/samsung-syncmaster-2233sn-lcd/4505-3174_7-33643011.html

Ive been thinking about this 27 inches:

And now, is it worth buying a new monitor? Will there be any significant difference? How about games, will the graphics be better, will there be any fps drops? How about movies, isn't 6ns response time too much?

GPU: gtx 570
Eye distance: about 75cm
The eyes should be at the same height as the center of the screen.

They're both 1080 screens so as far as graphics it might get worse since pixels will be getting bigger, colours will probably be better, speed wise they will be about the same but the 27" will seem slower just going up on size as pixels will appear to respond slower. FPS will not be affected since they're both 1080 screens so I think it's sorta of a side grade.

The monitor is vastly inferior to the one linked you in the your other thread. I know you want more opinions but unless you go Korean or decide to double your budget most regular monitors will be sidegrades in everything except colours unless you choose to a 120hz .

^ that is your best choice unless you want matte and if so here;

Either one would be far and away the best monitor you could buy in your range.

Yes, they are really worth it.

If you want to buy it through amazon, look for the Qnix QX2710 (it's the same monitor as the X-Star DP2710).

If you want more info on these monitors click the spoiler below: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

How you may ask? Qnix QX2710 (Pixel Perfect )

It's a PLS panel (which is just Samsung's version of IPS), though the pixels are different from IPS monitors. Some also think PLS has better colors than IPS.

From what I've seen most people easily hit 110Hz, if not 120Hz, as long as you don't have a garbage graphics card.

The bezel is of reasonable size, too bad it's glossy though, I'll be painting mine matte black. Also the anti-glare coating on the monitor is quite light and doesn't degrade the picture quality. Sooo much better than glossy if you ask me, and many others will agree.

Mine came with 1 dead pixel and 1 stuck pixel (likely the stuck pixel can be fixed), I ain't even mad though...the pixels are so god damn small it's quite hard to notice it. I don't have any backlight bleed on mine, some people have experienced bleed, but there is an easy fix.

The downside of the monitor is that the casing is cheap, which ain't that big of a deal to me. Although it is kind of annoying that you have to remove the back panel to take off the stem of the mount (if you want to put this monitor on a monitor stand with arms).

All in all, I'm really happy with mine. Definitely recommend it if you're in the market for basically the best bang for the buck/performance monitor you can buy right now. Also, the shipping from South Korea is so stupidly fast...48 hours, how is that possible? If you're worried about a warranty or it dying you can get a warranty from Square Trade for $50 for 3 year coverage.

Feel free to read user's opinions in the huge Overclock.net threads:
- Original Thread
- Overclock Results
- Monitor Club w/ Optimization Guides

TL;DR
Pros:
-27"
-1440p
-overclockable to 120Hz
-amazing colors (click here to see the out of the box colors for yourself - note the bezels aren't that thin on stock Qnix's)
-cheap

Cons:
-cheap casing
-possible backlight bleed (though you can fix on your own)
- possibility that you will have 0-2 dead pixels (not a big deal when there are 3.6 million other pixels on screen)
-cheap monitor stand
