@ZareliMan: Indeed, I also need the side buttons.

@nax0rz: I don't think I can propely palm the sensei, I tried it and it seemed a little too small for that.

How about the new Roccat Kone Pure Optical.

Roccat downsized the original Kone for the Pure line of mice, and the optical edition has the superior Avago 3090 sensor that all of the top gaming mice use.

From the product description: "The special right handed hybrid shape of the Kone is equally suitable for claw or palm grip. "

@mechtech: Unfortunately, I can't find it at any e-tailers in my country, just the laser version which seems kinda expensive. It has the same price as the Sensei MLG Edition.

The Pure Optical was released 2 days ago, it will start popping up at retailers soon.

Don't even consider the laser edition, it's a mediocre sensor.

How about the Mionix Naos 3200. I have the 5000 version because I game with it and I have fairly large hands and it rests perfectly in my palm by my finger tips are not flat, I still get that claw feel on my fingers but my wrist has shown vast improvment from my cheap logitech mouse that was all claw grip.

@boxwunder13: Actually, the Naos was the first option I took a look at when I started my search. The only reason I didn't buy it already was because I needed a second opinion on it. I don't know whether I can fingertip grip it in my games and I hoped could find a mouse with a more standard shape that would suit my needs better.

Honestly, the shape of the Naos is really nice. I really have grown on it. No lies though, I do not have much to compare it to since I have only held other gaming mice, not used them. What is the length of your hand from palm to fingertip? The thumb rest is perfect and I finger grip it with my palm full on it, I don't have small hands either. The Naos also has a good tactile feel and the software that came with my 5000 is not terrible to be honest. There are a lot of settings and you have five profiles that you can rename and set different LED colors on. If you game get the 5000 for the higher DPI though, worth it for sure. I have already recommended it to a few friends that are in the market for better gaming mice. Cheers.

edit: wrist to fingertip measurements.

This isn't the most ideal case but have you considered getting a cheap office mouse that can be palmed and a gaming mouse that is small enough for fingertip? It's an option worth considering especially if money isnt a big deal.

edit: wrist to fingertip measurements.

Hmm, i just measured it. It's 17.5 cm(7inches) from the wrist to the tip of the middle finger. For reference, here's my hand on a Func MS-3.
