3 x U2713HM vs 30" -- opinions?

I've been needing to get a new monitor for awhile. My current 30" is starting to have issues. I just happened to look on newegg and U2713HM is on sale for $550 with free shipping ending today.

I've read pretty good reviews about the monitor. I've never used 27" 2560 x 1440 monitors because the price difference between 30" wasn't much... but at $550 I would give 3 a shot.

Does anyone use 3 of these? Any opinions on them or opinions about 27" vs 30" / 1440p vs 1600p? These will be used on my personal computer that I do everything from gaming to after hours programming / photoshop / video editing with.

Also, I read about a crosshatching defect observed by some people using these at angles. As 3 monitors would need to be angled, does anyone know if that issue was resolved or is it still a problem?

Great monitor, but three is going to take SLI+ Titan to run at native res. What barbarian runs three 27" in landscape, portrait is the way to go.

Think a lot of the crosshatching effect was reduced with 2013+ revisions.

Do it or wait for the 32" UltraHD Dell Ultrasharp set for Q4,2013.
