Raid array gone?

I got 4 x 1TB Seagate drives setup in 2 x 1TB raid0 & 2 x 1TB raid0, i did so in Windows 7. When windows 8 released i upgraded to that (after most drivers got released). On install I couldn't see the drives, I installed all my motherboard drivers and after reboot they reappeared. I recently upgraded to Windows 7 again and now they won't show up after all my motherboard drivers are installed.

I can however see them in Diskpart:

My motherboard is a AsRock 990FX Extreme 3

I'm really lost as to how I'll get them back, since most of the stuff I backed up is on one of the raid arrays and I got a lot of stuff I'd hate to lose split amongst both drives.

Thanks in advance

If you set up the RAID in Windows 7 then it was a software RAID, and was managed by the OS.

You very well could have lost your data on the upgrade... Although, the fact that they say "Foreign" makes me think you might be able to import the arrays. Under disk management in Windows what do you see for disks?

Hmm, odd. It showed a "Foreign volume" as D:\ . I guess i must've missed it last time i looked. I right clicked it and could import it. All my arrays are back and working ! wheee.gifwheee.gifwheee.gifwheee.gifwheee.gif
