Need help using CUDA with my Titan

Thread Starter
I make YouTube videos as a hobby so i recently upgraded to i7 4770k CPU and a GTX Titan GPU and i render all my videos in Sony Movie Studio Platinum 12 with the MainConcept HD 1080p codec. but i noticed after my upgrade that the MainConcept codec was no longer using CUDA to render. (i have all the cuda settings turned on) However the Sony AVC 1080p codec will use CUDA but only spikes my GUP up to 12% and my CPU uo to 60% and i was only seeing a 9.4% decrees in render time from CPU only

1 minuet test video in 1080p.

MainConcept Internet HD 1080 CPU only - 6:03 - GPU max load 6% - CPU max load 100%
MainConcept Internet HD 1080 GPU if available - 6:07 - GPU max load 6% - CPU max load 100%

An increase in rendering time of 1.3%

Sony AVC Internet 1080-30p CPU only - 4:15 - GPU max load 6% -CPU max load 100%
Sony AVC Internet 1080-30p GPU if available- 3:51 - GPU max load 12% -CPU max load 62%

A decrees in render time of 9.4%

so my big question is what is wrong with the MainConcept codec or what am i doing wrong? And why is even the Sony AVC codec so slow my old rig could have done the same job in less then 3 minuets and it was 2 generations old. and also y is it that even using cuda its using so little of my GPU
Is there a comparability issue i don't know about between the MainConcept codec and the Titan (i have the latest drivers 320.49. and my Movie Studio is fully up to date)
Is there another codec that will make better use of my GPU and CPU?

GPU acceleration of Video Processing is on
max number of rendering threads is at 16
Dynamic Ram Preview max (MB) is at 200

Render settings
MainConcept AVC/AAC (.mp4;.avc)
Template - Internet HD 1080p
Frame size - HD 1080 (1920x1080)
Profile - Main
Frame rate 29.970 (NTSC)
Field Order - None (progressive scan)
Pixel aspect ratio - 1.0000
Number of reference frames - 1
use deblocking filter - unchecked
variable bit rate - 24,000,000 - 12,000,000
encode mode - Render using CUDA if available
enable progressive download - checked

Any assistance would be appreceated

When MainConcept uses Opencl it puts my CPU at about 85% and my GPU goes between 0 and 9% though it spends a lot of time at 0 then spikes up to for a moment then goes back down. o no longer have the video i used to test the previous numbers with as it was a week ago so i just set it to render something and watched what happened

Hmm sorry buddy.. I'm all out of ideas.

Try searching the creative cow forums - they have talked about this extensively.
