Compatible parts? Asus vivobook and vivotab

Thread Starter
I managed to aquire an Asus Vivobook x202e which is an 11.6" touchscreen netbook. The screen was cracked when I got it and it was registering multiple touchpoints due to the cracked screen. I managed to go into the control panel and turn off the touchscreen itself so I can use it as a normal laptop. After cursory research it appears the glass piece that's shattered is the glass digitizer that accepts the touch inputs over the lcd (lcd is completely fine). For the life of me I cannot source this part anywhere to attempt and replace it myself, and Asus wants $400+ to repair it themselves. I can however find the tablet only counterpart and source the digitizer for that model. My question is the digitizer from the tablet model able to be substituted into the Vivobook model?

This is the digitizer i found.

All help is appreciated, I'm pretty new to laptops and mix matching parts.

I would like to know the same. I' don't mind to lose the multitouch funcionality, even one point is enough

More, I don't understand why the led screen replacement for x202e costs $80 and the touch digitizer screen $130. Kind of nightmare
