Looks like a killer deal for a 500w Bronze PSU.

I don't pretend to offer the best knowledge on power supplies, but I have heard mixed things about EVGA's units. The best bet is to find what OEM builds units in your price range and go from there.

Yep I agree....I think I know a little. biggrin.gif I just don't buy into all the Gold/Platinum bs. To me, one should buy in PSUs:

1. Known name brand
2. Enough wattage @ 80 - 85% load
3. Sleeved, modular if budget permits.

But the rest is in another area....I gonna post up. biggrin.gif

The OEM for that model is HEC, which isn't my first (or 2nd/3rd/4th) choice for a PSU.

In that wattage range, I'd recommend either something from Rosewill's "Capstone" line or Seasonic's "G-Series" line instead.
