what voltage is correct(in manual mode)

my 4670k is set at 1.265v at 4.6 ghz . voltage set to manual. asus aisuite reads the voltage dropping on lower clocks and at idle like it should, same for hwmonitor. the problems is in aida64 the voltage says it stays at 1.265. and when i set it to adaptive aida reads the voltage clocking down like the rest of the monitors.

it didnt bother me before as i was only at 1.265v, but id like to up the volts and want to make sure the voltage doesnt stay at say 1.4v

summary

manual mode: not all programs show voltage dropping at idle
adaptive mode: shows voltage drop on all programs

Not all voltage reporting software reports HAswell voltages correctly. I've found HWMonitor and HWInfo show correct voltage on my board, so I'd trust what the say over Aida. Aida is probably reporting VID/BIOS input voltage (which is also ehat new versions of CPU-Z report).
