Help with Astro A50s?

Thread Starter
I use my Astro A50s for my computer and XBox, but I can only get audio from one source at a time. I would like to get audio from both sources simultaneously. Is there any cost-effective way to make this work? Should I just sell my A50s and invest in A40s (or something comparable) and a mixamp?

Plug the astros into your pc, take the audio out from xbox to audio in on PC, also have a look at http://www.overclock.net/t/668047/running-xbox-audio-via-pc

Get a 2xRCA-->3.5mm adapter and stick the xbox to your soundcards mic/line-in and then activate the "listen device" from windows.
OR, if your soundcard has optical in, you can use the optical outputs of the xbox instead of breaking your xbox cable.

I don't have a sound card right now. When I switched from the ASUS P5E to Sabertooth, I didn't have enough PCI ports to support the sound card. I guess I need to get a PCIe sound card. I'll take a look at the ports on my motherboard when I get home. Thanks for the input!

Would this card be adequate?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829102023

It has a lot of bad reviews, which is the only thing really stopping me from pulling the trigger, but it's the cheapest card I have found with optical in and out. I'm not really looking to break the bank to make this work.
