Audinst Hud Mx2 Pulse Audio

Hey guys im having trouble getting my hud mx2 usb dac to work with pulse audio.

If i use alsa hw3,1 "USB Audio #1" every application that can use that will work fine but im having trouble getting it to work system wide with pulse audio.

Ive tried having a look and using pacmd without much success and to be honest im a little lost.

Ive attached the results of various pacmd list commands aswell as aplay -l.

I'm trying to figure out the problem here...are you saying the DAC works without pulse perfectly fine but you want to have pulse on it?

It works when the setting say an application to use the specific alsa id - hw:2,1 or plughw:CARD=HUDmx2,DEV=1 Audinst HUD-mx2, USB Audio #1Hardware device with all software conversions.
But most distro's use pulse audio and im having trouble getting pulseaudio to to use this id/name specifically. There is a switch on my dac that toggles to three positions and i think it detects but does not use the correct position.

EDIT - I am able to get the device to play using "pacmd load-module module-alsa-sink device=hw:4,1" but i lose it after a reboot.
