Couple days back Logan from YouTube reviewed the x-star 27inch Korean 2560x1440 monitor. And in the video he said that x-star uses a "Samsung panel" what does he mean buy that. Can someone please explain?

Again, check out the OP in the Official Korean PLS monitor club. QNIX and X-star use samsung manufactured PLS panels and mount them into their own bezel. But, they are using the -A panel stock that samsung rejects for their name brand monitors.There is likely some form of minor defect, not always visible, with the panel.
