AMD HD 6850 Temp !

First of all hi everyone,My system specs:

-PowerColor AMD HD 6850 (My videocard has'nt overclocked)

-460w PSU.

-AMD Phenom x4 B50 3.2 GHZ.

-4 GB Ram.

-Windows 7 x64.

My card temp is:

-idle 40-41 °C

-10 min Furmark 75°C

-45 min Metro Last Light around 60-73 °C

Are these temps ok ? What is the top stable temp for HD 6850 ?

I would say the 68xx Chip is stable UNTIL 80*C and then if you have overclock'd and it goes past 80*C artefacts will arise. This is from personal experience with the 68xx.

Around 60-73 is a pretty big gap.Mine gets up to 65C and doesn't move from it.That's OC @ 950/1150

Thanks for the reply mate.

I haven't overclocked my video card, i thought i will have problem cause of my PSU.

What do you think 460w PSU can handle an overclocked HD 6850 ?

I wrote min and max degrees of temp during game.

When i looked at after 10 min it was 60-62 and the last time(afer 45 min) it was around 71-73

I Think a good quality 460w should be fine for it as long as its not crap.

i5-3570k @ 5Ghz 1.5V + HD 6850 @ 950/1150 i used to draw 300-310W.If your 460W is quality unit,you have no problems.
