Just buy a new video card and save the rest of the $ for later? The 955 is a little long in the tooth but there is no game it cannot handle if you have a decent GPU.

But if you just want something new I understand that... I'm also on 955 with no CPU upgrade path on my motherboard and have been itching to upgrade. However I have not been terribly impressed with what I have read about the 8350FX compared to my oc'd 955.

If Steamroller (I assume that's the next non APU that AMD will be releasing) continues the current trend of suckage I will be forced to go back to Intel I guess. But that is off topic.
