I also say go distilled water adding a different type of coolant to a loop could cause u problems down the line.

The reason you use distilled water is that it is pure with no minerals present to cause corrosion.

that makes me wonder about the guys up in canada and northern europe that are subject to these cold temps. what would happen if you took your watercooled system and ran it outside. would the water freeze in it and ubercool your proc or what?

If your going sub-ambient you can use MCT-5 or MCT-40 or some other anti-freeze like Pentosin...If you do use regular anti-freeze your not supposed to use over 10%, it makes your fluid to viscous, it's hard on the pump and doesn't dissapate heat as well...

Some OCers run their WC units below freezing for better cooling, so that`s why they need antifreeze.
