G15 died

Was cleaning my G15 and putting all the keys back into their spots. My keyboard is immaculate now..unfortunately it's also dead. Somewhere in the middle of placing all those keys into the slots the keyboard died. It wouldn't respond at first. Let it dry over night, tried again today and it is spamming keys without my control.

Some will say take it apart and wipe it down, but that's like asking me to change my own oil. Not really gonna' happen. Already tried to deal with Logitech CS. they were like "lolno"

Guess I'm looking at my next keyboard which sucks because I enjoyed the G15 despite whatever hatred anyone in this section has for it.

Having a screen was neat, but never really used it too much to care. The pause play button was useful though. I'm looking at the Logitech G710+. This keyboard looks almost perfect except I'm not really a fan of white glowy letters...why couldn't it have been colored..or better yet let me choose the color...I suppose we don't have the technology to do this with mech keyboards atm?

I tried mech keyboards out in the store and I was thinking I would hate Cherry MX Blues, but apparently they were the best ones I tried. I like feeling the point where the key registers. I feel that if I were to buy a mech keyboard it would need to have that feature. I don't care one way or another if I have clickity clack anymore. I'm K with it and K without it. I suppose around the loudness of my G15 would be great. The G710+ has Browns with that depression feeling. I haven't tried it, but it seems like the keyboard I want. Also, G-keys are cool and I was 6 of them. Not 54 of them, 6. I don't even use all 6..I use 4 of them, but 6 would be just great. I use them for commands rather than gaming.

Why can't they create a G710+ with an LED function to choose my own color like the G19?

That would be the keyboard I would buy...any other suggestions?

I like keyboards that have that Logitech look. I don't like keyboards that are just keyboards or too plain (AKA, I hate tenkeyless keyboards)

Having the number pad is actually useful since I use that for my passwords and such.

I like illumianted keys, but I don't like them to bleed a whole lot. I mostly like the number/letter itself glowing, not so much the underside.

What do ya' think?

This is strictly scientific. I decided to plug my keyboard in when I opened up word. First it said you are holding down CTRL, would you like to start in safe mode? So I unplugged, opened up word and let the keyboard beginning spamming the letters it was holding down. Apparently this is what it gave me..and no this is not a joke. I can even stream the results for you viewing pleasure if you'd like.

I don't know if my keyboard is trying to tell me something. I find it rather funny though.
