I'm trying to overclock my X1900 Crossfire Edition graphics card and need help

Thread Starter
On ATI Catalyst Control Center 6.11 I was able to get a clock that was 675/765MHz. I am now trying to clock my graphics card to somewhere in the ball park of 675-700/780-820MHz. using ATI tool but am really unfamiliar with the program and really don't want to risk turning up the core voltage to 1.475volts (money is not cheap). I am pretty hesitant with this decision because it gave me the warning that 1.475 volts was very high and I still could continue if I wanted (I choose not to). Could someone that has had past knowledge of this program please help me with this process. All I need is a step-by-step explanation of the instructions from the beginning to the end that will help me to achieve this overclocking goal. This would be most appreciated. Thanks

Well.. RivaTuner is WAY more user friendly IMHO so you might give that a shot but for ATI Tool, a little more voltage shouldn't hurt your board. Just don't apply an EXCESSIVE amount of VCore to it. Same thing as CPU OCing, only put as much VCore as you have to you kno? Small steps is the key..

Your setup looks somewhat farmiliar... Lol.
