[Eurogamer]Bioshock Infinite 2 Parts DLC: Burial at Sea/Ken Levine talks about it - Page 6

Is the DLC better than the main game at all? I found Infinite to be pretty damn disappointing myself.

Depends on what you were expecting out of the main campaign. The few fighting segments in Burial at Sea are intense, but artificially so. However, seeing some (read: an) old characters before they went full crazy was great, and the environment was stunning, as per Bioshock.

If you're talking the plot, Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
expect more of the same

Had to do it, since it's the first relative thread that came up after searching the forum

I would wait myself, I actually had it, but was trying to hold back so Episode 2 will come out, I luckily didn't. Just because I believe it's a snippet to Episode 2, even though I believe Episode 2 will take place potentially right before Episode 1 (just my theory). Don't want to spoil anything for you, so I won't.

Ha! I actually hit that airlock bug as well, it happens when you are forced to come back after you made your way forward. It's not required to go back though if you deal with vents right away.

Oh yeah I had another glitch where I just kept going right and I couldn't stop it, until I hit Escape on my keyboard and went back into the game. Maybe that will fix the airlock issue for you if you come across it again.

I have a feeling they will take some time to release the 2nd episode, it makes sense from a marketing standpoint. Let people finish that one, and let them buy 2nd one then.

Doesn't make sense for people that want it NOW LIKE ME smile.gif

AND yeah I LOVE first Bioshock and Bioshock 2. That is hard to top, but they had hit the spot for me with this DLC. The only problem it is sooooooo short. Rapture needs to be explored more thorough, especially before the decay.

I feel like they are jumping the gun on next episode so quick story wise. To me it was definitely quality, but quantity (hours) needs to be better and longer

I personally think episode 2 takes place after you Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
meet Sander. Since Levine had said episode 2 will feature more of a playable Elizabeth, the segment where you wake up in the bathosphere showed Elizabeth with scratches over her face. I'm guessing episode will explain what happened.

I wish they had brought back the Bioshock 2 gameplay. Being a Bioshock fanatic, the DLC was fan service not done well. IN summary, it was dissapointing
