I'd like to run my parts list by you guys...

Thread Starter
I've thought about water cooling a computer numerous times over the last 5-10 years but I either didn't have the money to do it or a computer worth doing it to. That is no longer the case biggrin.gif

I've been spending the last 1-2 weeks pouring over every article, n00b walk through, youtube video (including the FAILS/EPIC FAILS) and forum post I can find. I won't pretend that I managed to absorb all the info that's crossed my screen but I'd like to think I retained enough to make halfway decent parts choices. That's where you guys come in!

Here's the list:
-Case: NZXT Switch 810

-Reservoir: Monsoon Series Two (M2-D5P-MB)

-Pump: Swiftech MCP655

-Radiator: Black Ice GT Xtreme 420 or Black Ice GT Stealth 420

-CPU Block: XSPC RayStorm

-GPU Block: EK GeForce 660 GTX (EK-FC660 GTX)

-Fittings: TBD per needs

-Fans: TBD but most likely I will go for the quietest 140mm fans I can find that can still produce good RPMs

-Tubing: 1/2" ID tubing, color/brand TBD

-Coolant: Distilled water w/ a silver coil and anti-corrosive additive

My current computer build is in my signature for reference.
I'm hoping to be able to OC both my CPU and GPU once I get this whole thing purchased & functional.

Thanks for taking a look and please let me know if you see any glaring issues with my choices!

I would go with the Alphacool UT Rad over the Black Ice.

Agreed.

Here is my water cooling guide if needed, has videos, parts suggestions, and more

Good performance and the rad can be used for a quiet setup. Unlike the other rad which require high speed rpm fans to reach its maximum potential.
Rad comparison is in my water cooling guide

It's good at low RPM and across the entire range. It is a difficult RAD to beat, it does it all and it has six connection points.
