This is at Fry's Electronics for $89.99 after a $30 rebate. I have an X4 980 BE right now and might go for Steamroller if/when they come out. I read about issues with voltage being locked fairly low on MSI boards hampering overclocking (like around 1.45v). I've also read that MSI is very paranoid about customers damaging their hardware and purposely throttle CPUs at the first sign of higher VRM temps. Is there any truth to these claims? Should I just spend a bit more on ASUS or Gigabyte? Is the 990XA-GD55 even a good buy @ $120 with $30 MIR? Thanks.
