G1/8 to G1/4 Converter good for watercooling?

Thread Starter
Hey. i have an option to not have to buy, or i don't have the money to buy new radiators. but my pump and cpu block uses G1/4 Threading but my radiators and resevoir uses G1/8 (I THINK) it's ORIGINALLY A THERMALTAKE BIGWATER 745! so if me saying it has G1/8 threading PLEASE CORRECT ME.

okey so anyways. i am about to get a great deal on compression fittings G1/4 1/2 ID 3/4 OD and i cant use them, i am stuck at smaller threadings so i wanna use either a converter or if i can find a G1/8 1/2 ID 3/4 OD Compression fittings.

My concern is that it will just kind of drip or not fill the 1/2 inch tube with liquid or if it just will fill half of it or something.

and another thing. will it cool and or work?

Thanks smile.gif

I would suggest some reading up on Galvanic corrosion, and some watercooling guides.

This is a good one
