There's nothing illegal about importing a game in this country; even if its technically banned. Its only illegal to sell it.

Though I still don't know why they bothered with an R18+ if it has made no difference. Yet another Government fail

Can you use official online retailers? How about Steam? Just curious, cause if Steam works..... Well, that seems a bit odd. Either way, if it's not illegal to import than the whole thing is just stupid. Keeping sales from local retailers, lame.

Good thing I will be buying a russian Steam key and just activate using a VPN. Not only does that mean I won't get some watered down crap version, but I will also get it far cheaper. Me 1 - Classification Board 0

Careful though, if Steam catches on, you might lose your account.
It's a bannable offense in their TOS, I've seen it happen multiple times...

if you remember mortal kombat , it was banned for import as well. customs actually went through the packages for imported copies and you face a hefty fine($110k)

only way around customs is digital distribution but steam EULA stats you cant go around their region policy so they can rip you off by region

so much for trying to do the right thing and support the devs

I imported my copy when it was RC from www.ozgameshop.com. I remember reading about those fines and how ridiculous they were but that 110k fine, I think it was, if you were caught with a certain amount of copies and had the intention to sell. Mine got through customs just fine laugher.gif and in like 4 days ninja.gif.
