performance difference....

Thread Starter
I just upgraded from a socket 754 AMD 3700+ cpu, 2gb pc 3200 memory, and a 6600gt graphics card, to a E6600 conroe, 2gb pc2 6400 memory, and an Nvidia 7600 gt. To be honest Im not seeing a huge difference inbetween the 2 performance wise..Is there a good application (other than 3dmark) that will show the difference in performance?

Umm, Prime 95....

Oblivion... Take some of your games and double the resolution and max out all the settings, the increase in performance should be REALLY blatant though, unless your gauging by in OS UI performance, which is already as fast as it gets on a 1.8 celly and a ATI Rage pro...

Web-browsing alone is not going to help.

You have to try 3Dmarks, PCMarks and PI but lots of others that I don't to but other people do. I just do 3DMark and PCMarks mostly.
