Alphacool UT Nexxos Radiators Support 120mm or 140mm Is it true or bs?

Okay,

So I'm looking at these radiators and it's saying designed for both 120 and 140, so what does this mean exactly?

Versatility is the essence of the new NexXxos series! The radiators are designed to be used with 120mm as well as 140mm fans and are available in different thicknesses. The choice of 30mm, 45mm and 60mm offers the perfect radiator for every purpose. Even mounting and installation of fans and radiator grills is easy and versatile with these radiators: The M3 threads are standard in the radiator sector and available in all lengths at an affordable price.
Even the dreaded insertion of a screw too far into the radiator does not result in expensive damage. Unlike other radiators, the NexXxos series is equipped with an internal protective ledge which stops the screw before it damages the fins.

So it's the same thing on the 120 sizes and 140mm so what gives?

Can you use a 120MM Fan without an adapter on the UT60 560MM? or 420MM radiator?

Means you can buy a 120.x at 30mm-45mm-60mm-80mm thick or a 140.x @ not sure on 30mm but 45mm-60mm-80mm thick.

rad comes in all sizes, not a single rad can fit 120 or 140 fans.

Ah the wording is sketchy, prob because it's not native English. It leads you to believe it will support both 120 and 140 on the same rad mount wise.

... but a 140.x can always use 120mm fans with a 120-140 adapter.

Unless of course you're the TFC Monsta radiator which has mounting holes for 120mm fans and 140mm fans, or you're any 140mm radiator with a 120mm-140mm gasket.

I was not trying to say any and every radiator. I was saying the radiators OP was referring to were not designed as one radiator fits 120 and 140 fans in a single radiator without any adapter gaskets/plates.

Of course a 140 radiator can use 120mm fans with adapters, no need to play semantics with my words, it was obvious what the OP was thinking with his quoted text and seems he understood my reply.

Which if you would like me to state more clearly, Alphacool NexXxos radiators are available in 120.x mm AND 140.x mm varieties, therefore you could use either 120mm or 140mm fans in your build.
