Any 9590 or 9370 overclocking results? - Page 80

So recomended volts on any 9 seires CPU still 1.55V safe? thumb.gif
I personally don't care about going past that
But the 9370 I have clocks too good so I am happy with lower volts and no stupid volt and stupid clocks

It's taking 1.548v on my 1518PGS batch 9590 right now to get a daily stable 5GHz....

It's a pig for sure, but the key, is that it can run at that speed, and it does it much cooler than you would think...

Yeah that's right, I remember more clearly now. You wer going to do it on room temp water and I said no way that was going to happen. So you were going to get everything hooked up and show me IIRC. Not that it matters. I know you need chilled water if yo want to go that fast and even then it'll only be for validation.

Looking good Yamie. Did the CPU_NB voltage help? What was the secret sauce?

just thought i'd chime in. I had many 8350 and a 9590 that would boot into 6ghz under phase change. to go that far you have to drop the nb down to like 2400 or 2200, also drop the ram down to like 1600 or even lower, that way you arent stressing the cpu as much.

You're right it's no easy feat. I have a loop that I put outside in the winter for -25 ish temps when it's coldest and have done it a couple times but just barely . That's working up to it with software not a cold boot. Good for testing chips to see which have more potential really cold.

I can't say for sure;

CPU/NB Frequency - 2200Mhz
HT Link Speed - 2600Mhz
CPU LLC - Ultra High
NB LLC - Extreme
CPU Current Capability - 130%
CPU/NB Current Capability - 130%
CPU Power Phase Control - Extreme
CPU Power Duty Control - Extreme
CPU Power Response Control - Ultra Fast
CPU/NB Power Response Control - Ultra Fast
DRAM Current Capability - 130%
DRAM Power Phase Control - Extreme

Everything in Advanced turned off

CPU Voltage - 1.575V !!!
CPU/NB Manual Voltage - 1.35V

OCCT stable for at least 3 hours, but additional cooling needed!
I directly connected the PC to the AC, and AC set to 10°C
Almost 15°C below roomtemp!

Socket up to 81°C
CPU at 75°C

At room temps around 22°C I reach my mobos thermal limits at 85°C
