GTX 760 SLI GPU Temp huge differences - Page 2

it's possible one card is sucking in the hot air from the other. Disable or remove the one that's running cooler and see if the hotter one still runs at that temperature without it.

You have two cards smashed together...top one is definately going to be hotter more often then not due to less airflow. Especially with a dual fan type card. Thats why blowers are usually the better choice for SLI. Those temps dont seem all that bad regardless.

I had a MSI 760 TwinFrozr (similar to ACX) SLI setup running in a Define R4. The cards were spaced quite nicely apart (not directly next to each other) and the case had rather good airflow. Even then, I always saw ~10C difference between the 2 cards (primary/top running hotter). So if you are seeing a 15C difference it might not be all that abnormal, especially if you cards are right next to each other and you have mediocre airflow.

The biggest question you have to ask here: Does the primary/top/hottest card load below 80C? As long as it does (ie not throttling) I wouldn't worry too much about it smile.gif

Did you not have 670/680 SLi??

What you're seeing is not at all abnormal, but like a previous poster said. Swap the cards around and see if the hot one is still running hot.

Thanks for all the info guys, they both seem to be under 80c so I don't think its anything to worry about but I will be installing that gpu vent with an extra fan so hopefully that will help

Yeah I had 680 SLI but one of my 680's was stolen from me and two 760's was the cheapest way to get as close back to 680 SLI as I could lol. Sucks, but it will do for now. I also plan on buying a third 760 the minute the price goes down at all.
