Is anyone using the Intel X79 chipset on the Rampage IV Gene board to RAID-0 a pair of SSD drives? I was considering this option, or buying an LGA2011 ATX board and using an LSI 9271 controller. I know the X79 can't compare to an LSI controller, but if the X79 RAID-0 performance is good enough, I wouldn't have the heat problem of the LSI controller, wouldn't have extra cables, and I'd have an extra PCI-E slot free.

Cheers!
