hello guys, im moving to USA to live (from venezuela) and i SOLD my signature rig, i just keeped the hdd, ssd, audio card and the gtx 680 with its watercooling block and backplate, i have 1200$ and want to start a new build, considering i have the 680 (which runs GREAT, no problems at all) i just play bf3 (bf4 preorder) and sc2, i was playing at 27" 1080p resolution which i love, no reason to go higher atm, so, i wont go sli or triway sli (the evga x79 ftw supports 3 way and i did not use it), the watercooling part i can handle it, i need to know if it worth buying the same i7 3820 or something new, pls note that i need the whole rig but the hdd, ssd, video and audio. i was thing in mini itx or something like that..

my rig until today wubsmiley.gif

If you are building another pc on the x79 platform I think you should wait for the new "ivy bridge-e" specifically i7 4820k instead of 3820. if not want to wait until September, the Z87 platform is the best choice with a haswell i5-4670k or i7-4770k. if you plan to use only one graphics card a mini-ITX watercooled build looks interesting.

Hey Bro that is awesome that you live in Florida. I live in Florida to Welcome!! I suggest that you go with the i5/i7 4670K/4770K Haswell processors. They are pretty fast and they are the latest thing around. I would only got with the X79 Platform if you were going to run three way sli or doing 3d editing or auto-cad stuff. If you are just gaming and browsing then I would say go with the Z87 and i5/i7.

Hope it works out Bro!!! thumb.gif
