Z77X-UDH5 weird vcore

Thread Starter
I'm having a problem, once I set my Vcore to 1.3v, CPUZ reports 1.42v idle and under full load.

Once I boot back into the BIOS, it shows the voltage reading to be going around 1.358-1.38v, even though I set the voltage to 1.3v.

What the heck is going on?

if you are using a second hand motherboard try looking for signs of v-droop mod and make sure you have the latest bios

What LLC do you have?

are you using offset voltage? If so, what setting?

Not using a second hand motherboard. Bought this one new from NCIX when I built the rig.

Stock, not auto but stock voltage which is reported in the BIOS option.

No offset voltage, I believe. I just raised the Vcore. This only happens if I set 1.3v, however 1.290v makes it idle & load 1.29v... idk why this is happening
