Can I use a HD6870 or HD7950 and a GTX480 PhysX?

There was a driver hack at one point that would allow that... no idea if it's been maintained over the years though.

But It wouldn't really make sense to use a 480 as a PhysX card for a 6870 since the 480 is significantly faster. You may as well just use it instead.

Yes I know 480 is faster, but the last I heard that the hack driver work for HD6*** and not the HD7***. I was putting HD6870 in there just to make sure about the HD6*** series.

The hack driver was never that reliable and I think as of now it's stopped. No need trying something that will be worse than crossfire tongue.gif
