Fps capping.

Thread Starter
Hey OCN, I just got a gtx 690 yesterday and so far its been great. I recently upgraded (downgraded?) to a sg08 and z77n-wifi, and the 690 gets pretty toasty, so when I play less demanding games I would like to limit my fps to 60 without vsinc. Is that possible? I'm new to NVidia, but they seem to make some good drivers and gpus.

So is their anyway to limit fps to 60 without vsinc, in the NVidia control panel, or to I need a 3rd party software?

you need 3rd party OC tool.. afterburner or precisionX, etc..

also, you can set a more aggressive "fan curve" to help with cooling..
